Doubledays Get 6-3 Win Versus Sioux Falls
|
Despite a fine performance by right fielder Dani Trejo, the Sioux Falls Red Pandas suffered a 6-3 loss to the Tremont Doubledays. Trejo went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Alejandro Ramos was the winning pitcher. Over 8 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 2 walks and 8 strikeouts. At 12-9, the Doubledays are currently 4th in the Menard's AAA.
Also doing his part was first baseman Arturo Morales, who stroked a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the third for Tremont. For the game, Morales was 2-4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"We did a lot of things right," said Morales.
