McLaughlin goes 3-for-4 as Divided Squeeze Past Boston
The D.C. Divided eeked out a 4-1 win versus the Boston Patriots at Dunkin Donuts Park. Nobody did more than right fielder Wilfred McLaughlin, who captured player of the game honors. D.C. starter Tetsuzan Kaneko was credited with the win after throwing 119 pitches over 8.1 innings. His record now stands at 4-2. D.C., at 17-11, occupies second place in the Division I.

McLaughlin had a key at-bat for D.C. early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and gave D.C. an early 2-0 lead.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said D.C. skipper Jonathan Gerth.
