Port Royal beat Hamilton at Ballpark of Port Royal, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Miguel Hernández, who earned player of the game honors. Aukukero Mincarlie Jr. earned the save, his 3rd, for the Disaster. Port Royal, now 10-3, has played well in the early going.

Barnett Armstrong aided the Port Royal cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the second. For the game, the shortstop went 2-5 with 2 singles, while scoring 2 times.

"It was a good effort all around," said Hernández.
