The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes grabbed a 7-0 win over the Hamilton Coyotes at Crane Field. Santa Barbara center fielder Pepe Castroneves went 3 for 3 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk to earn player of the game honors. With the loss, Hamilton falls to 6-6.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Crane Field crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Santa Barbara manager Mark Harrison. "Our pregame was pretty good."
