It was a good time at Coyote Wildlife Refuge, where fans came to watch the Sioux Falls Red Pandas and Hamilton Coyotes get after it.

Alfredo Cardenas added some punch to the Hamilton offense, helping them outmuscle the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 9-7. In the game, Cardenas, who is rated as the 35th best prospect by BNN, went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. The win gives Hamilton a record of 5-4.

Tied up with the Red Pandas in the bottom of the sixth, the Coyotes got a boost from second baseman Héctor Rojas. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Rojas saw a 2-1 fastball from Taro Ohayashi and hit a 2-run double to break the stalemate and put Hamilton on top, 9-7.

"I like the roll we're on," said Hamilton manager Manny Sánchez.
