Tucker Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Brinkley in Walk-Off Win
|
The Brinkley Belugas downed the Scranton Supernovas, 7-6, in 10 innings. Zuberi Mccray led the way, going 2-for-5 for Brinkley. Ramón García got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. The win lifts Brinkley to a record of 3-5.
When he came to bat in the bottom of the tenth, Randy Tucker had a chance to end it. Scranton pitcher R.J. Anderson had other ideas. But with one out, Tucker hit a walk-off run-scoring single. The Belugas had the walk-off win.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Mccray said.
