Scranton pitcher Raúl Melro did his part in helping his team beat the Brinkley Belugas, 6-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. With the loss, Brinkley falls to 2-5.
Keith MacKey's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a changeup from Ramón García for a 3-run home run. It put Scranton in front, 6-3.
Melro attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
