Hialeah Dodos starter Hank Downey turned in a top-notch performance against the Salt Lake City Buzz at Dodos Ballpark. The result was a win for the Dodos, 5-2. Earnest Casey nailed down his 1st save. Hialeah, now 4-0, is setting the league on fire so far.

Hialeah took a 5-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Álex Burgos hit a clutch 3-run home run to bring Dodos fans to their feet.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Hialeah manager Tom Hollingsworth.
