The 2026 season began for Scranton Supernovas with a loss to the Naperville Battlekings at Nuclear Stadium. The final score was 5-4. Naperville pitcher Gordon Neugebauer earned top player honors. Neugebauer got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Neugebauer allowed no earned runs. William Taylor picked up the save for Naperville, his 1st of the year.
