Victory Pushes Dodgers Record to 19-15
|
Both teams had their chances, but the Brooklyn Dodgers eventually prevailed at Ebbetts Field.
Brooklyn right-hander Bruce Wright made an effective start against the Capital District Red Knights at Ebbetts Field, leading his team to a 4-1 win. The Dodgers bumped their record to 19-15 with this latest triumph.
Vincent Crane's at-bat in the bottom of the fourth was significant for the Dodgers. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Brooklyn leading 1-0, the shortstop drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"It feels good to get that win," said Crane. "Now it's on to the next one."
