|
The Montana Pandas topped the Las Vegas Flamingos, 5-3, in Third League action at The Strip. The player of the game was Montana pitcher and Milwaukee, Wisconsin native Richard Sykes. Ryan Davis closed the door for Montana, picking up his 2nd save of the year. Montana bumps their record to 17-14 with the win.
The most critical at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With no one out, Mario Cruz hit a 2-1 fastball from Enrique García for a 2-run home run. It put Montana in front, 5-3.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Cruz.
