Las Vegas and Portland met at Evergreen Park and the Flamingos emerged with a win.

The Las Vegas Flamingos went home winners at Evergreen Park, thanks in large part to starter Cris Herrera. Herrera silenced the Portland Evergreens, enabling Las Vegas to grab the 4-1 win. The Flamingos, at 14-10, sit in 4th place in the Division III.

Kunimichi Chikafuji in the top of the sixth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Flamingos leading 1-0, the Las Vegas shortstop drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Herrera told the Las Vegas Today. "Whatever it takes."
