Thundercats Rally For Late Win Over Patriots

Richardson City and Boston met at Dunkin Donuts Park in front of a lively crowd.
Behind a solid performance from catcher Fernando Ramírez, the Richardson City Thundercats defeated the Boston Patriots, 7-3. Ramírez was 4-5 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Thundercats. Richardson City, at 14-10, occupies 4th place in the Division I.
Juan Cabrera's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a fastball from Robinson Gonzáles for a run-scoring single. It put Richardson City in front, 3-2.
Ramírez said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.
