Las Vegas starter Jesús Tejeda pitched effectively against the Capital District Red Knights at The Strip. The left-hander led his team to a 3-1 win. Enrique García closed it out for his 4th save. The win lifts Las Vegas to a record of 7-6.

Las Vegas took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 2nd, John Aston hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Flamingos.

Tejeda said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
