The Las Vegas Flamingos downed the Chicago Gold Sox, 8-7, at Gold Sox Field. Terry Sylvester led the way, going 1-for-3 for Las Vegas. Enrique García picked up the save, his 2nd. The win leaves Las Vegas with a record of 4-4.

Sake van Arem was a key contributor to the win for the Flamingos. In the top of the fourth with two out, the light-hitting third baseman stroked a double to left. He was 1-5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.

"I felt good up there," said Sylvester. "I saw the ball well."
