The Toledo Stingers went home winners at Pacesetter Park, thanks in large part to starter Víctor García. García silenced the Houston 1837 BBC, enabling Toledo to grab the 1-0 win. García picked up the win for Toledo, going 7.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 6-9. Brandeis Vogt was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 22 of 25 save opportunities.

Toledo took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases empty, John Downing stroked a solo home run to make it 1-0, Stingers.
