The Grafton Middies picked up a win at Field of the Middies, knocking off the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 6-1. Starting pitcher Wayne Hurst, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Grafton has a 3-game win streak, while Thunder Bay has lost 3 in a row.

The Northern Lions BC had trouble solving Hurst, who surrendered no earned runs on 6 hits over 8 innings.
