The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC scored a 5-2 win versus the Toledo Stingers at Pacesetter Park. Thunder Bay pitcher Tyler MacHugh nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Brandon Bannatyne converted his 4th save in 5 tries. Thunder Bay is now 61-42, 3½ games up in the Division II.

Chris Gregory, who is tied for 4th in the SL in triples with 5, aided the Thunder Bay cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder drove in one run.

"We did enough to win," said MacHugh.
