Victory Over Hotspur Takes Thunder Bay to 60-40
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC downed the Phoenix Hotspur, 5-4, at Great Northern Field. Carlos Padilla led the way, going 3-for-4 for Thunder Bay. Thunder Bay is now 60-40, 3˝ games up in the Division II.

Padilla came through with some timely hitting for Thunder Bay. With the score 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth and no one down, Padilla hit a first pitch cutter for a solo home run. It was his 14th home run of the season -- and a big reason the Northern Lions BC managed to win.

"It feels good to get this one," Padilla told the Thunder Bay Observer.
