Yu Selected PAA's Best Player Monday, October 6th, 2025 He may have less experience than some veteran members of the USPL Double A, but that didn't slow Sang-your Yu down at alll in 2025. At the age of 22, the Athletic Club KC Academy catcher has been named the winner of the USPL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award. He had a .333 batting average and a .397 on-base percentage this year. In 94 games he piled up 123 hits, 13 doubles, no triples, 9 home runs, 45 RBIs and 55 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." Rubén Alvarado of the Tacoma Fur Traders finished second in voting, while Jenkins Hall of the Tacoma Fur Traders finished third. |
