PAA Announces Outstanding Pitcher Award Sunday, October 5th, 2025 When the call went out to the Mercer Island bullpen in 2025, Tomiji Saikawa proved equal to the task. Whether he was brought in to squelch a rally or just finish the game, Saikawa gave his best at each opportunity. As a result, today the Screaming Eagles reliever was named the latest USPL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. He made no relief appearances, logging 150.2 innings and no saves this season. He racked up 110 strikeouts, a 10-3 record and an ERA of 2.75. Ryan Ingram of the Lannister United Lionhearts finished second in voting, while Raúl Pérez of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles finished third. |
