Red-Hot Cole Scorches Aeros Monday, May 12th, 2025 After the San Bernardino 8-2 victory over Battle Ground and his 5-hit day third baseman Brandon Cole told BNN beat writers, "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college ball, two hits in a game are very good. Three or four hits even better, five or more are out of sight ... and if it is in pro ball, it is really something special." The 22-year-old player gained that distinction today at Battle Ground Stadium with a spectacular 5 for 5 game against the Battle Ground Aeros. The skipper of the Grasshoppers spoke glowingly of Cole, telling BNN writers, "His swing is getting there. We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Brandon did that to perfection today."
