Luna Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Monday, September 15th, 2025 Athletic Club KC's Fernando Luna was 2-for-4 in the Reserves 3-0 victory over the Jersey City Sun Caps. That stretched his hitting streak to 20 games. In the clubhouse after the win, the 24-year-old Luna told reporters, "I'm in a groove right now, and I am trying to stay there by doing the same things over and over again. If I change something, it might bring me bad luck." Fernando Luna flied out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Cristo Rodríguez in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Luna is batting .317 with 18 home runs and 49 RBIs this season. |
