Davis Sizzles -- Smokes Nobles for 5 Hits Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 Today at Jerome Grounds, Bakersfield topped the ParksNRec in spite of a standout batting performance by right fielder Wilbur Davis. He had a very impressive day at the plate, spanking Bakersfield pitching for 5 base hits, but couldn't come away with a win. Bakersfield whipped Pawnee by the score of 6-5. Wilbur Davis singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, singled in the 10th, hit an RBI double in the 11th and singled in the 13th.
