Las Vegas's McKinney Takes 2025 Outstanding Hitter Award Thursday, November 6th, 2025 Chris McKinney took Menard's Third League by storm this year and he did it all at the age of 25. For his spectacular campaign, the Las Vegas Flamingos star has been named the 2025 Third League Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is pretty overwhelming," said the first baseman. On the season he compiled a .304 batting average to go with a .387 on-base percentage. The native of Duson, Louisiana also added 17 doubles, 2 triples, 28 home runs, 92 RBIs and 63 runs scored. Javier Sánchez of the Rocky Mountain Nuggets finished second in voting, while David Smith of the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC finished third. |
