Bishop Takes 3L Outstanding Pitcher Award Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 When the name of Chip Bishop appeared on the Seattle lineup card in 2025, it was a virtual guarantee of a victory or at least a well-pitched game. For his brilliant performance this season he was named the Third League Outstanding Pitcher Award winner today. He started 24 games, running up a 14-2 record and a 2.40 ERA. Bishop held opponents to a .218 average while striking out 108, walking 45 and allowing 143 hits in 180 innings of work. Rafael Cardona of the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC finished second in voting, while Cris Herrera of the Las Vegas Flamingos finished third. |
