Trade: Templeman for Chávez Monday, August 4th, 2025 According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the Kingston Township Legion and the Montana Pandas. As part of the deal, the Legion swapped 26-year-old 3B Layton Templeman and $500,000 in cash to the Pandas getting 24-year-old RF Andrés Chávez and 24-year-old 3B Jim Scott in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team. This season Templeman is hitting .262 with 4 home runs. Presently Chávez is hitting .206 with 5 home runs and 20 RBIs. He has played in 30 games and scored 16 times. |
