Washington Loses Castro for Season Tuesday, July 29th, 2025 Ángel Castro has to call it a season. The Washington Generals shortstop learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 07/26/2025 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a concussion and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months. The team will likely place Castro on the disabled list today. Currently Castro is hitting .182 and has collected no home runs, 17 RBIs and scored 12 times, while playing in 65 games. |
