SA Trophy Goes to Wemerman of Louisiana Monday, June 9th, 2025 A hot-hitting week got Wessel Wemerman the USSL Single A Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Louisiana first baseman slammed them for a .538 average, 14 hits in 26 at-bats, 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and scored 7 runs. In the postgame press conference, Wemerman shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." On the year Wemerman has hit .420 with 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and scored 13 runs. |
