2025 Top Player Selected In SA Wednesday, September 24th, 2025 Jay Hood of the Hammond Herons had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2025. The 20-year-old center fielder put up a .275 average and a .334 on-base percentage, piling up 82 hits, 17 doubles, 1 triple, 6 home runs, 35 RBIs and 34 runs scored. Stanley Belote of the Hammond Herons finished second in voting, while José Jarca of the Hammond Herons finished third. |
