Niagara Falls Loses Montés for Season Friday, August 8th, 2025 Manuel Montés has to call it a season. The Niagara Falls Expos reliever learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 08/06/2025 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as shoulder inflammation and stated that he would not be able to play for 6 months. The team will likely place Montés on the disabled list today. So far this year Montés has made 21 relief appearances with no saves, thrown 64 innings and struck out 50 with a 0-7 record. |
