Durand This Year's Best Rookie Monday, November 3rd, 2025 Rookies are supposed to be seen, but not heard. But that wasn't the case with Atlanta's Ned Durand. He spoke up loudly and often this season on his way to winning the Premier League Newcomer of the Year Award for 2025. To be accurate, the 24-year-old first baseman let his performance do the talking. In his debut season Durand piled up some good stats, hitting .249, driving in 75 runs and scoring 53 times, while playing in 108 games. The Smoke newcomer also had 16 doubles, 1 triple and 22 home runs. Mitch Qualtrough of the Richardson City Thundercats finished second in voting, while Jorge Vargas of the Oakland Oaks finished third. |
