The Oakland Oaks faced a tough opponent in Northern Virginia pitcher Joe Kehoe, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Oakland Coliseum by a final score of 3-2. Kehoe went 7 innings and allowed no earned runs. The win moves Oakland to a record of 11-6.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Oakland trailing 2-1, Brian Ray hit a fastball from Cole Hall to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Oaks had a walk-off win.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Ray said.
