Cristo González aided the D.C. cause with a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 4 with a triple.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," McLaughlin told the D.C. Herald.

The next game is set to be played on Thursday, October 9th, 2025 at Washington Stadium. The scheduled starters for the game are Ramón Ortega for the Thundercats and Yoriyoshi Yamamoto for the Divided.
