Frye's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 7 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 4 hits. Frye, the 13 overall pick in the 2024 draft, goes to 1-0 on the year with 7 strikeouts.
Yakima manager Jamie Randall said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
The next game is scheduled for Wednesday, September 24th, 2025 at Hops Park. Slated to start are Cameron Frye for the Screaming Eagles and Mariano Martínez for the Hops.
