The Alameda Airmen and Washington Generals put on quite a show at Washington Park.

The Alameda Airmen defeated the Washington Generals, 6-5, in 12 innings. Enrique Vásquez led the way, going 2-for-4 for Alameda. Alameda reliever Billy Mays picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Inocencio Galló absorbed the loss.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the 12th inning. With two out, Fernando Trinidad hit a 0-1 slider from Inocencio Galló for a run-scoring single. It put Alameda in front, 6-5.

In postgame comments, Vásquez said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."

After today's action, Alameda sits at 31-50, while Washington falls to 42-39.
