Thrilling Victory Pushes Tula Win Streak to 10
|
The Chicago Tula topped the Gwinnett County Black Cats, 5-3, in USPL Single A action at Pipers Ballpark. The player of the game was Chicago pitcher and Atlanta, Georgia native Daniel Riley. Riley picked up the win for Chicago, going 7 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 7-3. Chicago has now won 10 games in a row.
Alfredo González aided the Chicago cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth. For the game, the pinch hitter drove in one run.
