The Alameda Airmen went home winners at Torch Field, thanks in large part to starter Bryan McKinney. McKinney silenced the Mancelona Torch, enabling Alameda to grab the 3-1 win. Paco Rodríguez, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. With the win, Alameda has a record of 18-36. Mancelona falls to 24-30.

Alameda took control in the top of the eighth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Teobaldo Pasquetto hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Airmen.
