Walla Walla starter Bennett Garland had a strong outing against the Mancelona Torch at Walleye Tank. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. Walla Walla reliever José Marroquín was the winner. His record is now 1-3. Arturo Guerrero took the loss. The Walleye now own a record of 20-28.

A defensive miscue in the bottom of the sixth could have cost the Walleye. With Walla Walla trailing 3-2, Joe Dundee reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. In the end, Walla Walla was still able to win the ballgame.
