Chicago withstood an impressive performance by South Beach center fielder António Ramírez to defeat the Blaze, 4-3, at Ramblers Ballpark. Ramírez went 2 for 3 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Chicago leads the Premier A by 2 games.

The game came to an abrupt end with one out in the bottom of the 12th. On a pitch from Lucas Cobb, Rubén Dubón hit a walk-off run-scoring single. It gave Chicago the 4-3 walk-off win.

"It was a test of wills," said Pierre Muller, the Chicago skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
