South Beach right-hander Gob Bluth pitched his team to victory over the Chicago Tula at Ramblers Ballpark. The final score was 5-2. Ángel Ruíz earned his 7th save in 9 tries. The Blaze sit in third place in the Premier A with a record of 27-17.

José Rico didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run home run to put South Beach on top, 2-0.
