The Walla Walla Walleye picked up a win at Walleye Tank, knocking off the Alameda Airmen, 10-3. Starting pitcher Bennett Garland was an essential part of his team's success. The winning pitcher was Garland, now 1-4. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 7.

The Walleye picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Garland told the Walla Walla Citizen.
