The Gwinnett County Black Cats scored a 4-3 win versus the Walla Walla Walleye at Pipers Ballpark. Gwinnett County pitcher Héctor Salazar nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Gwinnett County bumps their record to 25-17 with the win.

Gwinnett County shortstop Clarence Weber helped the Black Cats go up, 4-2, in the bottom of the fifth inning. With the game tied, Weber hit a 2-run single off Walla Walla pitcher Horatio McAllister.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," said Salazar.
