Shortstop Altuve goes 3-for-4, Steals Spotlight in Mancelona Rout
Benefiting from the performance of Mesa Altuve, the Mancelona Torch defeated the Gwinnett County Black Cats, 13-3. Altuve was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Torch. Tomás Vargas was the winning pitcher. A key at-bat in the game came in the bottom of the second inning when the Torch sent teenager Todd Sentell to the plate against Black Cats hurler Luis Arreola.
