5 Straight Wins for Tula
The Chicago Tula and Alameda Airmen obliged those fans who came to Alameda Field looking for a good time.

Dave Yates left his imprint on the 9-4 Chicago win against the Alameda Airmen. Yates, who was drafted in the two round of the 2024 draft, was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times. Eddie Schmitt earned the save for Chicago, his 4th of the year.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the second, with the game tied, Dana Waldrip was at the plate when Chicago scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Tula to go in front, 1-0.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Chicago manager Pierre Muller.

Chicago, now 11-3, is playing great baseball to start the year.
