U-21 Win, Hope to Turn around Slow Start
A 3-RBI performance from Dani Reyes helped the Athletic Club KC U-21 beat the Mancelona Torch, 9-5. The winner was Athletic Club KC reliever Tommy Rowe, now 1-1. The loser was Arturo Guerrero. Even with the win, it has been a disastrous start to the year for the U-21, who once had aspirations of returning to the playoffs but now find themselves mired in 8th place at 3-7.

Álex Castillo aided the Athletic Club KC cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 4 with a walk.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Castillo said after the game.
