Dragonblood Cut Down Torch, 3-1

The Yellowknife Dragonblood and Mancelona Torch played a tight game at The Dragon Den, with the hosts claiming the hard-fought win.
Kelsey MacGillivary pitched a gem to lead Yellowknife to a 3-1 victory over the Mancelona Torch. The winning pitcher was MacGillivary, now 2-0. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5.
Hamilton, Massachusetts-born John O'Day came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st and the Dragonblood trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run home run to right-center to put Yellowknife on top.
"Getting the win feels pretty nice," said O'Day. "More importantly, I had a good game."
The loss lowers the record for Mancelona to 3-3.
