The Hogsmeade Cauldrons stymied the Louisiana Dragoons, 6-2, at Gators Ballpark. Ignacio Medine, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Hogsmeade. José Morales was called on to finish, recording his 8th save. With the win, Hogsmeade has a record of 44-40. Louisiana falls to 38-46.

Medine contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Hogsmeade in the bottom of the seventh. With his team trailing 2-0, Medine took a fastball from Woody Hudson and stroked the home run to right. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Cauldrons to leap in front, 4-2.

Medine told the Hogsmeade Chronicle: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
