Dragoons Get One-Run Win at Syracuse
|
The Louisiana Dragoons eeked out a 7-1 win versus the Syracuse Storm at Storm Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Emil Olsson, who captured player of the game honors. Olsson was the winning pitcher and moves to 5-3. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 3 walks. Louisiana has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
In the top of the second, Scott Kerin hit a bases-clearing double for Louisiana. The 10th double of the season for the Louisiana left fielder put the Dragoons on top, 3-0.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Kerin, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
