Plainsmen Come Up Short at Grim
Grim Reapers starter Darius Baxa was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Nebraska Plainsmen, 6-1. Baxa, now 1-6, was the winner. In 8.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. The 7th-place Reapers now have a win-loss record of 15-22.

Grim took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and a runner on 2nd, Orlando Montoya stroked a 2-run home run to make it 3-1, Reapers.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Montoya told the Grim Daily News.
